KINGSTON – The inaugural Career and Job fair was conducted Monday at Kingston High School as employers gathered at the Kate Walton Field House seeking potential employees. “We’re doing this to bring young people from Kingston and the surrounding area into the workforce,” said Kristine Conte, a community-relations specialist for the Kingston City School District.
New Hudson & Packard Pizzeria Opening In Kingston
Hudson & Packard, a mainstay in Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie, announced they will open in Ulster County in Kingston in the old Corner Bar and Grill on Delaware Avenue. One of the owners, Charlie Webb, said the new restaurant would be called "Sorry Charlie" and feature New York-round-style pizzas instead of its traditional Detroit-square, excellent craft cocktails, and bar bites, keeping with the tradition from Hudson & Packard.
