Six Dead, Others Critically Injured In Beltway Crash That Shut Down Roadway (Developing)

Multiple people are dead after a violent crash on the west side of the Baltimore Beltway in Woodlawn, authorities confirm.

At least six people have been confirmed dead after the horrific crash, that occurred in the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, March 22, according to Baltimore County Fire and EMS officials.

Both inner and outer loops were shut down near exits 16 and 17 around 1 p.m. due to the crash.

At least one other person has been rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

Officials are asking the community to stay away from the area.
