yesterdayTown of Woodbury police have caught a young man after a string of armed robberies.
Police say Giancarlo Garcia, 18, of Pennsylvania is now facing a list of charges.
On March 18, police responded to the Sunoco A+ in Central Valley for a reported robbery.
Police say the suspect threatened the employee with a handgun and stole a large sum of money, cigarettes, lottery tickets and the employee's cellphone.
During their investigation, police identified the suspect as the person who committed two additional armed robberies in New York and Pennsylvania that same day.
Garcia was remanded pending a bail hearing.
