Authorities rush to help person with gunshot wound in Wolf Creek

WOLF CREEK, Ore. -- Local authorities came together to treat someone with a "critical gun shot wound" in Wolf Creek, according to a Facebook post from Rural Metro Fire in Josephine County. 

"Wolf Creek Fire District, AMR-Josephine County, Josephine County Sheriff's Office, Mercy Flights and Rural Metro Fire answered the call received by Josephine County 911," the post said. "Even an ODF unit on patrol in the area assisted with traffic control to help make the landing zone safe as the medical helicopter aided in the transport."

No other information was given in the post.
