Mid-Michigan man battles cancer for the fifth time, hosting upcoming 5K for cancer fighters

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A mid-Michigan man is looking for more participants for his upcoming annual 5K Hillsdale. Not only is it a great way to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy the weather, it’s also a chance to help change people’s lives who are currently fighting for their lives.

6 News’ Chivon Kloepfer spoke with Shawn Doll, the created of Shawn’s 5K Walk/Run for Cancer, who is battling the disease for the fifth time. Doll says he benefited from an organiztion called Game On Cancer through Henry Ford Health, and he wants to return the favor and help others in the fight of their lives.
