    Motorcyclist dies after crashing into rock wall along Clarksville Pike

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday after crashing into a rock wall while attempting to perform a stunt along Clarksville Pike, officials said.

    According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the crash happened on Clarksville Pike near Dry Fork Road at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

    Based on the preliminary investigation, authorities said the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed on a Honda CBR when witnesses saw him lift his front tire to perform a wheelie.

    Police said the motorcyclist lost control, struck a metal guardrail and crashed into a rock wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Officials later identified the motorcyclist as 25-year-old Bronson Holloway from White House.

    According to MNPD, Holloway was wearing a helmet and there were no signs of impairment at the scene.

    No other information was immediately released.
