    1 dead after two-vehicle crash near U.S. 43 and Interstate 65 in Mobile County

    MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Wednesday morning crash near Interstate 65 in Mobile County ended in at least one death, News 5 has learned.

    UPDATE: Mount Vernon homicide victim identified

    According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency officials, the crash happened on U.S. 43 near Interstate 65 in Mobile County around 7:49 a.m. and involved two commercial vehicles.

    Photos from the scene show a vehicle overturned in the crash.

    Satsuma Police Department officials told News 5 that at least one person died from the crash.

    The road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time while authorities work on the crash.
