Man hospitalized after robbery in Mobile, police investigating

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after they say a man was injured during a robbery.

According to the MPD, officers responded to a reported robbery that occurred in the area of Dauphin Street and Ann Street at around 7:28 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Through investigations, officers said they learned that a man was riding his bicycle in the area when he was robbed by three men. Police said that during the robbery, the men physically assaulted the victim.

The victim was left with minor injuries and taken to the hospital for treatment, according to reports.

MPD said this is an active investigation.
