    Boil water advisory lifted for Coeburn Mountain area

    UPDATE: The boil water advisory was lifted Thursday evening.

    NORTON, Va. (WJHL) — A boil water advisory has been issued for some Wise County Public Service Authority customers due to a waterline break.

    The utility reported a waterline break near 10247 Coeburn Mountain Road in Wise, impacting around 50 customers.

    Tri-Cities grocery stores carried recalled Boar’s Head deli meat

    A boil water advisory was issued out of an abundance of caution for customers in the following areas:

    • Coeburn Mountain Road north of 10247 Coeburn Mtn Road
    • Zeaghan Road
    • Van Buren Road
    • Sportsman Drive

    Affected customers should bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least a minute and let it cool before consuming, the utility said.
