City of College Station launches new program to address affordable housing needs
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) -The City of College Station has taken a proactive step in addressing the pressing issue of affordable housing with the launch of a new program aimed at developing rental units tailored to low-to-moderate-income households. The program, funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and/or Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), seeks to alleviate the challenges faced by many residents in finding affordable housing options.
