The shelter in Orlando finds itself overwhelmed as it takes in more animals than it can accommodate, prompting a plea for assistance from the community.
100% of Orlando Red Lobster restaurant contents sold as auction closes
Red Lobster Seafood Co. restaurant contents from closed restaurants in Orlando and Altamonte Springs have sold. The auction started May 13 at 3 p.m. and ended May 16. Each restaurant's contents were sold in their entirety, and removal of contents was scheduled for May 17.
Orange County shelter with hundreds of animals hopes โMega Adoption Eventโ gives some slack
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. โ As of Friday morning, more than 200 dogs and 100 cats were at Orange County Animal Services. The shelter is participating in a โMega Adoption Eventโ at the Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds in Plant City in an effort to get as many pets adopted as possible, though Orange County residents can still come to the shelter on Conroy Road if they wish to foster or adopt.
