Community members and business owners are sharing their concerns after reports of cars doing burnouts in parking lots on Robinhood Road, occurred this weekend in Winston-Salem. The YMCA and Ace Hardware parking lots on Robinhood Road are filled with tread markings.According to security cameras from businesses, dozens of cars were doing burnouts late Saturday night, early Sunday. For the main reason being, just for the safety perspective,” Peele said.Peele said they’re now figuring out how to fix this visually and get rid of the marks. He said they also turned over their security footage to police to look into.Winston-Salem Police Department said they received a few calls about this and that officers did respond. When asked if any charges were filed when officers arrived, a WSPD spokesperson said they don't see any criminal charges in the report filed.
