A season after the Middlebury Tigers ended CVU's 12-year state championship streak, the two are scheduled to meet in the regular season for the team's first meeting since. Champlain Valley began its revenge tour against the Tigers with a 9-8 rain-soaked victory on Thursday, pushing the RedHawks to 2-0 on the season.
Women’s basketball closes season against Saint Louis University
After a historic postseason push, the UVM women’s basketball team saw their season end in the NIT Fab Four round against the Saint Louis University Billikens. Middlebury college baseball tallies 14 runs of offense, in road win over SUNY Plattsburgh
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — Middlebury baseball avoided a season sweep against Plattsburgh, picking up the 14-5 win on the road. The Cardinals, who took down the Panthers 14-11 back on Tuesday, March 12, were on a four-game winning streak heading into the contest. The Cardinals got off enough to another good start, where a three-run first inning, including a two-RBI single from Daniel Novelli, put them up 3-1 after the bottom frame.

Women’s lacrosse loses fourth straight in close match against UMBC
The UVM women’s lacrosse team returned home to Virtue Field Saturday, April 13 to face the UMBC Golden Retrievers. Sophomore attacker Jane Trauger opened the scoring in the first two minutes of play to give the Cats an early advantage. UMBC quickly responded with two goals of their own before Trauger evened the score herself, notching the equalizing goal in the bottom right corner of the UMBC net with just under four minutes left in the first quarter.
