Mississippi State football and coach Zach Arnett flipped Winona linebacker Fred Clark. The three-star recruit decommitted from Ole Miss on Thursday and committed to the Bulldogs on Monday.

Clark is the No. 21 recruit in the state for the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He joins Winona teammate T.J. Lockhart in Arnett's upcoming recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 230-pound Clark is the No. 71 linebacker nationally. He also received offers from Southern Miss, Memphis and Louisiana Tech, among others.

Clark finished with 65 tackles, seven for loss, two interceptions and a forced fumble in eight games. He helped lead the Tigers (10-2) to the MHSAA Class 3A quarterfinals.

The senior committed to Ole Miss on March 7 but reopened his recruitment last week.

"After a long talk with my family and coaches I've decided to open my recruitment back up and de-commit from the University of Mississippi," Clark wrote on Twitter. "Thanks to the coaching staff at Ole Miss for the love and opportunity."
