Rowing competition held on the Christina River in Wilmington

The Wilmington Youth Rowing Association held its 2023 Head of the Christina Regatta on Sunday in Wilmington.

Athletes competed in 2.75-mile head races.

The Wilmington Youth Rowing Association draws public, private, parochial and home-schooled kids from Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, northeastern Maryland and southern New Jersey.

The money raised by the Head of the Christina Regatta goes toward teaching rowing to kids.
