Coaches' early season rankings: Top 30 players in Delaware high school boys soccer

When it comes to Delaware’s top high school boys soccer coaches identifying the best players early in this 2023 season, there is broad consensus at the top.

Most agree on the top six to eight players. Maybe not in the exact order, but the same players are mentioned across the board.

After that, it gets murky. Part of it is how different coaches value different skills. Part of it is some players may not have been seen as often as others.

But mostly it’s because there are many capable players across the state, athletes across the alignment at different positions who will make the key plays when their teams need it most.

The coaches have cited 30 players as worthy of recognition as we move through the early part of the season. Many more will be working to break into our postseason rankings, but for now, check out the athletes our voters believe will be worth watching this fall.
