Keep Your Family Safe: Free Gun Locks and Tips from Wilmington Police Department

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department announced it is offering free gun safety locks and information to our residents, courtesy of Project ChildSafe.

Locks can be obtained free of charge from the House Sergeant’s Office at WPD Headquarters (300 North Walnut Street).

“As our dedicated police officers and investigators continue their relentless efforts to address illegal firearm possession and gun crime in Wilmington, it is also important to extend resources like these to our residents,” said Chief Wilfredo Campos.
