10 most expensive homes sold in Shippensburg, May 6-12
A house that sold for $480,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Shippensburg in the past week. In total, 10 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $240,390. The average price per square foot ended up at $150.
New Chambersburg representatives want to meet residents, business owners
Two representatives on Chambersburg Borough Council want to get to know their Fourth Ward neighbors and learn how they can best serve them. Fourth Ward councilmembers Stacy Short and Jamie Boden, who are both relatively new to their positions, invite residents and business owners from the borough's northwest district to Bethel Assembly of God, 400 Miller St., at 6 p.m. May 20.

Central Pennsylvania gas prices remain above national average
(WHTM) – Drivers in Central Pennsylvania are continuing to pay more than the national average for gas despite prices coming slightly down in the last week. According to Gas Buddy, the average price of gasoline in Harrisburg is $3.76 a gallon, down 3.6 cents in the last week. Gas is up 5.2 cents per gallon over the last month and 17.3 cents per gallon higher than a year ago in the region.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Franklin County car dealership is expanding. Fitzgerald Auto Malls opened its new showroom in Chambersburg Friday. It replaces the now-demolished former showroom, and is triple the size. They now have more than 100 employees — a 10% increase.
