Cocky’s Bagels has officially landed at The Yard on 3rd in downtown Willoughby.

Founded in 2019 by Northeast Ohio natives Keene Cockburn and Natalie Bata as a late-night food truck, Cocky’s Bagels expanded with brick-and-mortar locations in the Flats East Bank and Columbus, offering bagels for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night.

Now, they will be available at The Yard, 38040 Third St., from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays, offering bagels and bagel sandwiches.

“Cocky’s Bagels’ reputation extends far past the west side of Cleveland,” said Anna Dey, The Yard on 3rd co-owner. “We believe the Downtown Willoughby community will be ecstatic about this union. We are fortunate to partner with such a great concept and family, just as we have been fortunate to partner with each of our locally owned food trucks and Geraci’s.”

Dey said the business has made a commitment to building up local business owners, between The Yard on 3rd’s local vendors, live musicians, food truck partners, Geraci’s and now Cocky’s.

Offering signature favorites like their wake n’ bacon, Philly and buffalo chicken dip with bagel chips, Lake County residents will now be able to enjoy Cocky’s in their backyard.

In addition to being The Yard's new daytime house truck, Cocky's eventually plans to be open for late-night shifts from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Yard will continue featuring a rotating line-up of food trucks from 5 p.m. to close daily.

"Once The Yard reached out, we knew it would be the perfect home for the original Cocky’s food trailer that helped us start this,” said Bata. “We are excited to be able to serve all our east side friends and look forward to meeting so many new people.”

The Yard had their eyes on Cocky’s all season in 2022.

“We’ve been confident they’d be a great fit and we are ecstatic to have them joining us,” said Alex Fogle, The Yard’s general manager.
