    Police: Victim hit with beer bottle

    Trout Run, Pa. — A victim suffered forehead, facial, and mouth injuries after they were allegedly struck with a glass beer bottle at the beginning of the month.

    State Police arrived at a home near the 2100 block of Lower Bodine Road to speak with the accused just before 7 a.m., according to Trooper Matthew Doherty. Yvonne Fredin, 58, of Williamsport admitted to being in a physical altercation with the victim, Doherty added.

    Police located narcotics and paraphernalia on the 58-year-old Fredin while she was being taken into custody, according to the complaint. The 63-year-old victim allegedly sustained injuries to their forehead, teeth, and mouth.

    Fredin is being charged with simple assault, harassment, and possession of paraphernalia. She is being held at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $5,000 monetary bail.
