Steven Bowen, 34, from Newport News, has been arrested by the Hampton Police Division. He is suspected of robbing a 7/11 convenience store on Commander Shepard Boulevard on November 16, 2023. Bowen allegedly broke into the store at 2:34 a.m., stole a quantity of Newport cigarettes, and fled on foot.
Richmond felon to serve two years in prison for possessing gun illegally in New Kent
A Richmond man, who is also a convicted felon, will spend the next two years in prison for illegally possessing a gun. Brandon Isaiah Morris, 31, of the 900 block of Dirk Road, entered a guilty plea to one count of possession of a gun by a nonviolent felon as part of a plea agreement reached Monday morning in New Kent Circuit Court.
