Santa Clara residents, businesses to see utility bill rate increase July 1
Residents and businesses in Santa Clara will pay a little more on their village utility bills starting July 1. The village Board of Trustees approved an increase in water, sewer and trash collection rates that will amount to a 5 percent across-the-board hike. That will amount, on average, to about $2.60 per month per household, Village Administrator Sheila Hudman said.
