SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged theft.
Just after 5a.m. Wednesday, a witness called 911 to report that they heard the sound of a Sawzall cutting metal coming from the Super Car Guy’s lot in the 100 block of N. West Street in Wichita, according to a media release.
Officers responded to the scene and located 32-year-old Sean Gisick of Wichita crawling on the parking lot floor with 3 catalytic convertors and a handheld Sawzall.
Investigators located 3 vehicles in the car lot with their catalytic convertors cut and removed.
Officers arrested Gisick and booked on requested charges of felony charges of theft of property and criminal damage to property.
