Isaiah Aleman has been released on $13,000 bonds on charges of criminal mischief, resisting arrest and attempt to take an officer’s weapon.

On Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2024, police responded to the 4500 block of Melody Lane on a report of an angry man pulling a fence down.

When police arrived, they said the suspect was being held down by two people who were trying to calm him down.

Officers said they attempted to restrain the man, but he kept resisting and was tased. As the struggle continued, he grabbed an officer’s taser, according to police.

The officer reportedly warned him to let go or he would be shot. It was at this point the bystander stepped in and helped them gain control and restrain the suspect, officers stated.

Aleman was taken to the hospital and then cleared to be booked.
