Coroner: Woman dies from accidental drug overdose in pre-trial facility
The Kern County coroner’s office confirmed that the woman who died March 3 in the Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility died from an accidental drug overdose. Jocelin Berly Alvarez, 30, of Los Angeles died of fentanyl, xylazine and other drug intoxication and her manner of death is considered an accident, according to the coroner.
