Jefferson baseball 10-year reunion for state championship-winning team on tap in May
A 10-year reunion weekend for the Jefferson baseball program’s state championship-winning team of 2014 is slated for mid-May. On Thursday, May 9, players are invited to an optional practice at Fischer Field at 5:30 p.m. On May 10, a 5:30 p.m. scrimmage versus the 2024 team will be held. Pregame batting practice will commence at 4:15 p.m. with infield/outfield work slated for 5:10 p.m. There will be a cookout afterward at the park and players are encouraged to wear retro jerseys, baseball pants and a JHS baseball hat. On May 11, when Jefferson has a nonconference doubleheader versus Wisconsin Dells at Fischer Field, a reception will take place between games. The first varsity game gets underway at 10 a.m. The weekend will be capped with socializing after the doubleheader. Players are invited to bring along spouses and kids.
