Troup’s Davis gets save for McNeese
MOBILE, Ala. (KLTV) - Former Troup Tiger Lindsay Davis earned a save in McNeese’s 3-2 win over South Alabama on Tuesday. The sophomore entered the game in the sixth inning with a runner on third with no outs and McNeese holding onto a 3-1 lead. She induced a flyout, foulout and struck out the last hitter to get out of the inning. Davis gave up a leadoff triple in the seventh but got the next three out on groundouts (the runner on third scored on the first groundout) to give McNeese a 3-2 win. It was Davis’ third save of the season.
