Sancre Productions and the Los Alamos County Community Services Department enthusiastically announce that this year’s headliner, for our day of entertainment and fireworks on Tuesday July 4th in Overlook Park in White Rock, will be the world’s most passionate tribute to the band Queen – Bohemian Queen.
This internationally touring Queen tribute band features an incredible lead vocalist, and the musical back up to put us all in a time machine and go back to the 80’s when Queen were the kings of the music scene. The production value that Sancre Productions and Bohemian Queen bring to the table are unparalleled and the audience can expect excellent sound, costumes, and all of Queens most popular songs. This tribute band regularly sells out amphitheaters all over the United States with a base ticket price of $45, but because we live in such an incredible community, it is being offered completely FREE to the public on the 4th of July!
Announcing an Incredible Lineup
Our day of entertainment begins at 4pm with the Los Alamos Community Winds, who have been a staple of the Fourth of July celebration in White rock for decades and feature many of our areas best classically trained musicians.
The United States 44th Army Band, known as ‘New Mexico’s Own’, will follow with patriotic music along with some surprise modern hits. Band members are all enlisted military members, and we are honored that they have decided to spend the day of our nation’s independence with us in White Rock.
At 5:30 pm, the Los Alamos Fourth of July Spectacular heats up with with Katy P and The Business putting on their show that has been driving New Mexicans wild for several years now, with their super high energy covers and entertainment. If you’ve never been to Katy P in The Business show, now is the time you get to know one of the best bands we have in Northern New Mexico. The headliner, Bohemian Queen takes the stage at 7pm to really bring the house down, and we expect thousands of attendees to be dancing to their favorite songs in the huge open space of Overlook Park in White Rock.
At 9pm the Los Alamos Kiwanis Club will launch an incredible fireworks display as they have done for decades; they are great at what they do, and they do so much to support the community. The fireworks alone would be good enough reason to come to Overlook Park, but the talented and spirited music lineup featured is guaranteed to make this an event one to remember for years to come. The amount of time and money that goes into creating an event this special takes a lot and we are currently looking for an event Presenter and Sponsors. Sancre Productions offers an amazing media package that includes radio, video, print, and a robust social media campaign. We also offer day of event benefits including multiple host and public address system recognitions, as well as stage time to let the crowd know all about your business. Additionally, a backstage VIP area complete with band meet and greets, and food and drinks are a wonderful way to thank your employees, VIPs, families, friends, and guests, while also getting your name out to a crowd. Which in years past, when the weather and fire season has cooperated, regularly draws between 5,000 and 10,000 from all over northern New Mexico. Not to mention that was the attendance numbers before Sancre and Los Alamos County began to invest in top-notch entertainment. Calling all Food Trucks and Vendors
Sancre Productions is also seeking food and merchandise vendors, face painters, and any other activity that the public would enjoy at this signature Los Alamos County event. There will also be a section dedicated to nonprofit organizations, including the Kiwanis Club, who previously organized this incredible event and have given residents of Los Alamos and White Rock a space to celebrate on Independence Day. It should be noted that this event is produced by Sancre Productions. Interested vendors should e-mail Sancre Productions directly to inquire about and receive technical assistance in acquiring all necessary permits and licensing required in order to vend at what will be the coolest 4th of July event in New Mexico this year and for years to come.
And of course, we have to mention that multiple Los Alamos County Departments contribute to the success of this event by making Overlook Park one of the most beautiful destinations in all of New Mexico to listen to music and enjoy a fireworks show.
