Memorial honors longtime Stepinac coach who died suddenly earlier this month

Staff at the high school say Farmer is someone who wanted the best for his players and wanted to see them develop and grow - win or lose.

A memorial service took place Monday night for a longtime Stepinac assistant  coach. 
Dozens of people came together at Stepinac in White Plains to say goodbye to Gary Farmer who died suddenly earlier this month.
He was a retired Greenburgh police officer and longtime assistant football coach.
Staff at the high school say Farmer is someone who wanted the best for his players and wanted to see them develop and grow - win or lose.
Stepinac runs deep in Farmer's family. His brother and son were also graduates.
He was 56 years old.
