Baltimore Key Bridge collapse: Officials provide update after ship crash
A vessel ship ran into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officials provided an update at 6:30 a.m. CT after two people were rescued. A state of emergency has been declared as search and recovery continues.
Driver in deadly I-695 construction zone crash sentenced
TOWSON, Md. — One of the drivers from the fatal 2023 construction zone accident has been sentenced for his involvement in the deadly incident. Malachi Brown, 20, will be sentenced to 18 months in prison in part of a plea deal that he had agreed to earlier this month. Under a plea, Brown will serve 18 months in prison followed by three years of supervised probation, in addition to 40 hours of community service.

Three-vehicle crash in Fallston leaves 2 injured
FALLSTON, MD—Crews responded to a crash in the Fallston area on Tuesday morning. The motor vehicle accident was reported on MD 152 at Connolly Road. Three vehicle were involved in the crash and two individuals were transported to local hospitals, according to the Fallston Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Co. There has been no update on their condition.

DUNDALK, Md. — The call came in to Alex Delsordo's phone at three in the morning Tuesday. Fire and police crews would be coming to his business, the Anchor Bay East Marina in Dundalk, to fuel up and head to the Key Bridge, which had been hit by a container ship and collapsed.
