Johnny Gaudreau’s Wife Announces That She’s Pregnant With Their Third Child During His Memorial Service

Today, the memorial service for late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau, who was killed by a drunk driver along with his 29-year-old brother Matthew last month, was held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Media, Pennsylvania. The 31-year-old Columbus Blue Jackets star forward was biking near Oldmans Township, New Jersey with his brother on August 29th, the eve of their sister Katie’s wedding. Gaudreau was the top forward for Columbus, and had been recognized as an All-Star multiple times throughout his storied career. And at the memorial service this afternoon, Meredith announced that she's pregnant with their third child, saying that she and Johnny had the "best six months" of her life as a family of four and she views it as the "ultimate blessing": "John and I had the best six months as a family of four. These will forever be the best six months of my life. There's specifically one week that I will cherish forever – it will be my favorite week of my life out of those six months.
