Koe Wetzel is bringing 9 Lives to the main stage. In the thick of his Damn Near Normal World Tour, Koe Wetzel is sharing some of the music from the stage with fans that can't make it to a show. While, of course, these videos are made with added visual cuts to keep viewers interested, the heart of the live performance is Koe's stellar vocals. https://www.instagram.com/p/C_dgAQ_R0JM/ Wetzel treated fans with a live performance of the beloved song off his new record "High Road." While there was a little bit of drama surrounding the single as it was teased as a solo track and then released with Jessie Murph as a feature, fans got the best of both worlds. I personally am a fan of the version with Murph as it gives a unique perspective from both males and females who are in a toxic relationship. However, the solo version is a heater, so you can't go wrong with either version you choose to fire up. Before getting into the song, Wetzel shouts out Murph, noting that he wishes she was on stage to perform with him. Koe performs the solo version of the track, swapping the second verse for his own lyrics.
"Call me a son of a b*tch For being honest Yeah, that's what I get F*ck it I quit You keep losing your head About some girl I'm with..." Vocally, Koe Wetzel is spot-on throughout this performance. He effortlessly hits the notes and conveys the emotion of defeat as he delivers the melancholy lyrics. If we keep getting incredible live cuts like this from the tour, I hope Wetzel considers putting out a live album. That would be an instant hit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpSaWnW3h6s
