Rowdy Philadelphia Eagles Fan Starts “E-A-G-L-E-S” Chant At Christ The Redeemer Statue In Brazil

Are we ready for a little Friday Night Football? I don't know about you, but I feel like that just sounds right. NFL football on a Friday night? Inject it into my veins. I'm for NFL football Thursday through Tuesday night if we're being honest, though I understand that wouldn't bode well for player safety. But anyways, the Green Bay Packers are taking on the Philadelphia Eagles TONIGHT in a game that's happening in Sau Paulo, Brazil at the Corinthians Arena. It's airing exclusively on Peacock ( that's spelled trouble for me in the past ), and it marks the first time an NFL game has been played in the country of Brazil. Packers quarterback Jordan Love spoke with Packers.com about his excitement for playing in front of the Brazilian crowd: "It’s an awesome opportunity to play the first-ever NFL game here. I know there’s a lot of fans over here. It’s awesome to be live here in front of you guys. I’m very excited. We said it the other day – this is the Brazilian Super Bowl here, so we’re gonna make it a great game for you guys." A great game is all an NFL fan can ask for. Well, maybe for the casual NFL fans. For Philadelphia Eagles fans (especially the ones that have made the trip to Brazil), they'll be satisfied with nothing less than an Eagles victory. And it appears there will be a good amount of Philly faithful present at the game. They've already taken over Brazil's most recognizable monument- Christ The Redeemer - earlier today with an "E-A-G-L-E-S" chant. If the Philadelphia fans are already bringing the energy that early in Brazil, I've got a feeling the Corinthians Arena will be rocking tonight.
