Streamer Smokes A Steak With Nothing But 500 Cigarettes, And Shockingly It Didn’t Turn Out Well

Poor cow died for nothing. As someone who enjoys throwing a brisket or a pork butt on the smoker, I can confidently say that when it's done right, it's hard to cook a perfectly smoked piece of meat. I can also confidently say that never once have I thought, "You know what would make this better? If it tasted like an ashtray." Well one streamer decided to do a little experiment and smoke a steak not with wood or charcoal, but with 500 cigarettes. Nothing like a side of cancer to go with your BBQ, but whatever. The guy used Step herbal cigarettes, which don't actually contain any tobacco but promise "a similar satisfaction, taste and smoking experience as tobacco cigarettes, without containing any tobacco or nicotine." And he smoked three steaks: One that was smoked with only half of the Red cigs, one that was smoked with all the Reds, and one that was smoked with all the Reds plus all of the menthol cigs. I'm gagging just thinking about it honestly. Halfway through the experiment, the smoking chamber was opened to reveal that buildup that had already accumulated due to the cigarettes, and for some reason this guy decided to try to drink the bong water and I'm sure he's never going to be able to get that taste out of his mouth. Well eventually the steaks were done smoking, so he threw them in a pan to sear them and it was time for the taste test. Spoiler alert, it was as gross as it sounds. Some of the best comments from his reactions as he made his way through the various steaks: "Oh no. I have two that are worse than that. Good God." "Just a hard bitter flavor." "It's like kind of yellowish." "That's so f*cking bad. That's one of the worst tasting things ever. The menthol made that taste so f*cking shit. Oh Lord."
