The Band Perry, Pink Floyd tribute band coming to New Philadelphia
NEW PHILADELPHIA − The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University – Tuscarawas will host two concerts this spring. According to a community announcement, the shows will feature The Band Perry and Floyd Live. The Band Perry will perform at the center on April 24. The group's return marks the end of a hiatus and the beginning of a new era for the band. The Band Perry gained recognition with their hit single "If I Die Young." The group, led by lead singer and songwriter Kimberly Perry, has sold 2.5 million albums and 12 million singles. They have achieved multiple No. 1 singles and have received several industry awards, including a Grammy, CMA, and ACM Award. Floyd Live to perform March 26 Floyd Live, a tribute band to Pink Floyd, will take the stage on March 26. The tribute band has been praised by industry professionals for its authenticity and has received endorsements from notable figures in the music industry, according to the announcement.
