Veterans transportation services need volunteer drivers
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Every service organization has a stated mission, and the Disabled American Veterans is facing a challenge in fulfilling one of theirs. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the Veterans Administration (VA) have combined to be able to get transportation for rural veterans to their appointments in Sioux Falls.
Milbank truck driver injured in North Dakota rollover crash
HANKINSON, N.D. (KFGO) – A 34-year-old truck driver from Milbank suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash in southeast North Dakota Thursday morning. The Highway Patrol says Justin Pond was driving a truck pulling a gravel trailer when he failed to maintain his lane around a highway curve two miles southwest of Hankinson. The truck went into the ditch and rolled onto its roof.
