Bobbie’s Cafe and Pie Bar Relocating to San Antonio’s North Side

According to San Antonio Express News , Bobbie’s Cafe and Pie Bar is relocating from the South Side to the North Side of San Antonio.

Coming to 606 Embassy Oaks , the eatery will take over the former Magnolia Pancake Haus spot near establishments such as 502 Bar, Julian’s Italian Pizzeria & Kitchen, and Weathered Souls Brewing Co.

“The biggest heartache is that we don’t want people to think we’re leaving the South Side… The South Side is what made us,” shares Ana Ferris , who owns the business alongside her husband Greg Ferris .

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, it offers a brief introduction on its website : “At Bobbie’s Cafe, we take pride in crafting the perfect blend of traditional and modern southern dishes. From our signature biscuits and gravy that melt in your mouth to the fluffiest, golden pancakes and our legendary chicken fried steak, every bite is a testament to our commitment to quality and flavor.”

Bobbie’s Cafe and Pie Bar on Embassy Oaks is slated to open in September, though “they plan to keep the current location of Bobbie’s Cafe on South Flores Street open as long as possible before the move,” according to Express News .
