A new restaurant from local restaurant group Up Hospitality Partners is set to come to 330 Franklin Rd. Ste. 913 . Karrington Rowe will be the third concept by the group, adding to its existing portfolio of Germantown Cafe and Park Cafe .

“Our goal from a design aesthetic is a place that is evergreen and can last for 15-20+ years just like the two other concepts in our group,” said Sean Lyons , a managing partner at Up Hospitality. “I think that’s the benefit of our other restaurants: they developed amazing relationships in each neighborhood. We want something that’s not going to go out of style and that people feel comfortable coming into multiple days a week.”

Customers can expect a design that incorporates residential features to give Karrington Rowe a comfortable, nostalgic and timeless look. The goal is to make the new spot a place with a relaxed atmosphere that community members will want to visit again and again.

“We want people to feel like they’re treating themselves but also walking into home,” Lyons said.

Karrington Rowe’s menu will feature recognizable American classics with creative twists. The menu will largely be pulled from Up Hospitality’s other two concepts, Germantown Cafe and Park Cafe, which both offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options along with drink options. Customers can expect classics like the well-loved French onion soup from Germantown Cafe to make it onto Karrington Rowe’s menu.

“At the other locations people have gotten used to the classic flavors, so now we have a chance to reinvent those dishes and flavor profiles a bit,” Lyons said. “But they’re very well-known and popular, so we want to bring those tastes to Brentwood.”

The restaurant also plans to incorporate local elements into their design, including art from the Brentwood area, a nod to the community-centered aspect of their brand.

“We plan to be involved in the community, do some events and partner with local groups,” Lyons said. “As a restaurant group, that’s what we focus on. Some people focus on mission-style food, some people focus on the show, but the thing we focus on is obviously the best food and service we can possibly do, but it’s all in an effort to build community in the place that we’re at.”

Currently, the restaurant is undergoing construction. Up Hospitality is aiming for a late November opening date.

“Our goal is to know people’s names, our goal is to make people feel welcome [and]  our goal is to have food that people are familiar with but that’s the best version of that food,” Lyons said.
