Boka Restaurant Group is planning to expand its footprint in Nashville with a new Italian restaurant, according to reports from the Nashville Business Journal.

The new spot will be located in Wedgewood Houston at 515 Houston St., the location of the AJ Capital Partners’ Wedgewood Village development, a mixed-use facility set to be completed in 2025. The complex will house retail, restaurants, bars, residential apartments and office spaces.

The new restaurant is planned to open in a 170,000-square-foot brick building at the corner of Houston and Martin streets and will also feature a bar concept. It is slated to go in next to fellow Boka Restaurant Group concept Momotaro , a Japanese restaurant first announced to be coming to the development in 2022.

Boka Restaurant Group was founded by Kevin Boehm and Rob Katz in 2002, first launching with the restaurant Boka, which opened in 2003. The Chicago-based group has now expanded to include more than 20 restaurants across Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

Alla Vita is currently the Boka Restaurant Group’s only Italian eatery, and the group has been known to introduce pre-existing concepts to new cities. However, it has not been confirmed that Alla Vita will be the concept coming to Nashville.

Currently, there has been no timeline released for opening. However, considering that the AJ Capital development is slated to open in 2025, both Boka Restaurant Group spots could open then as well.

What Now Nashville has reached out to the Boka Restaurant Group for more information on the upcoming spot but has yet to receive further information. Stay tuned for updates on this location’s opening.
