Independent Sushi Restaurant Opening in Georgetown

According to recent construction records, a new sushi restaurant is coming to Georgetown. Mashi Sushi will be found at 1019 W University Ave, within suite 101.

The 7200 square foot project will consist of remodeling an “existing vacant lease space to be a new restaurant”. It is estimated to cost around $900,000 and reach completion in July 2025.

What Now Austin briefly reached owner Jiansheng Yang. While he did not have much detail to provide on the upcoming project, he did have a set timeline on the opening.

“It’ll be open in ten months,” he said, essentially corroborating the estimates in the records.
