WARREN, NJ - Warren Baseball & Softball and Watchung Little League, two organizations dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young athletes, officially came together under the banner of the newly formed Watchung Hills Baseball & Softball Association and opened the season Saturday with a parade led by Warren Township - NJ Police Department and the Warren/Watchung fire departments. “This successful Opening day was the result of hard work by a lot volunteers who were supported by the township's recreation dept, DPW, Police and fire departments to make it a great experience for the players,” said Warren Township Committeeman Shaun Fine. “ I grew up playing in this league, it feels great to see it still going so strong and only growing stronger.
