Two Chicago officers hurt in West Side crash

CHICAGO — Three people, including two Chicago police officers in an unmarked SUV, were hospitalized after a Thursday afternoon collision in the city’s Garfield Park neighborhood.

The officers were transported to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County after the crash near West Madison Street and North Washtenaw Avenue. The other person was taken to The Loretto Hospital.

The officers’ injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. No other confirmed information is available.
