WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — A 33-year-old Florida man is facing charges after police say he parked next to women in a Walmart parking lot and exposed himself.
Winter Haven police said Trinell Alexander Webster, from Dundee, drove to the Walmart on Cypress Gardens Boulevard on June 30 around 6:45 p.m. and again on July 7 around 7:43 p.m., where he parked next to female victims sitting in their cars.
On June 30, a female victim was in her vehicle waiting for a family member to exit the Walmart when Webster allegedly parked beside her in a blue Toyota Corolla. After a few minutes, the victim looked into the Corolla to see Webster masturbating while holding a cell phone, police said.
The victim said she changed parking spots and failed to contact law enforcement immediately because she was “in shock.”
Then, on July 7, a mother and her 17-year-old daughter were sitting in their vehicle waiting on family when a blue Toyota Corolla pulled into the spot next to them. According to police, the victims said they saw Webster holding a cell phone while masturbating, but they called the police.
Winter Haven police said the Corolla had left the scene by the time they arrived.
Police tracked the Corolla to Webster via the vehicle’s license plate number, which the July 7 victims recorded.
During an interview on July 9, Webster said he was in the parking lot at the time of both incidents, claiming he sometimes drives around the parking lot at Walmart to “decompress” after work, according to police.
Webster was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail on three counts of exposure of sexual organs.
“We believe there are possibly more victims who encountered this criminal and we encourage them to contact us immediately,” said Police Chief David Brannan.
Anyone who believes they were a victim of Webster is asked to contact the Winter Haven Police Department at 863-401-2256.
