A Westwego man who distributed meth out of a New Orleans East motorcycle shop has pleaded guilty to multiple federal drug charges.

According to prosecutors, Nghia Le, 37, entered his plea in federal court last week to various possession, distribution, and conspiracy charges related to his dealing of meth and cannabis. He also pleaded guilty to guns charges related to those drug deals. Le faces a possible life sentence and fines of up to $10 million on three of the counts to which he pleaded.

Prosecutors say Le sold more than a pound-and-a-half of meth to federal agents and agreed to sell them an additional five pounds of the drug before he was arrested. Agents also say Le conspired to sell more than 45 pounds of cannabis and owned five guns that he planned to use during the sale of those drugs.

Prosecutors did not say when Le would be sentenced.
