WESTMINSTER — A 44-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Westminster yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault that had occurred on Back Westminster Road at around 7:25 p.m.
Police allege that Kenrick A. Carridice, of Westminster, had assaulted Joseph Bell, also of Westminster, with a weapon in the presence of a child.
Carridice was arrested and processed at the Westminster barracks and was released with a citation.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
