BALTIMORE — A robbery suspect was arrested Saturday night after attempting to flee from police in North Baltimore.

Officers were on the lookout for a car wanted in connection to an attempted armed robbery in Westminster.

The driver refused to stop for police after they spotted the car in the 1000 block of W. North Avenue.

Eventually the man behind the wheel, 58-year-old Daniel Moss, hit a parked car before crashing into a tree on Roland Avenue.

Moss' 74-year-old wife, Linda, who was a passenger inside the car died on scene. Daniel was arrested and taken to a hospital.

The Maryland Attorney General's Office identified the officers involved as Bradley Roberson and Menachem Rosenbloom.

An investigation is underway to determine whether they properly followed state laws and departmental procedures while pursuing Moss.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call investigators at 410-396-2606 or 1-866-7LOCKUP.
