With Coach Pashley in the House, Westminster will Squash the Competition
When Coach Celia Pashley arrived at Westminster at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, her goal was to get Westminster their squash glory back, and she immediately hit the ground running. The Westminster Squash team was a legend, having won multiple championships for both genders. However, they had lost multiple top-spot players during back-to-back years, causing them to lose some of their glory. Coach Pashley realized after her first year coaching the JV and Varsity Girls and Boys teams that the solution to bringing Westminster back on top was to create a Middle School team. She believed that creating a Middle School team would give 7th and 8th graders the opportunity to improve their squash skills before high school.

Our Local Stevenson Mustangs Fall to Alvernia Golden Wolves in Season Opener
The Stevenson Women's Ice Hockey team played against Alvernia University in their regular season series opener. Alvernia University's offense scored twice in the first period and once in the third, resulting in a 3-0 win over the Mustangs. Alvernia's goalie, Maggie Sehnert, made 35 stops, including 18 and ten saves in the first two periods.

Cross country sprints into first place at states
The Girl’s Cross Country team narrowly escaped this year’s MPSSAA 4A States competition with an exciting win by just one point over Frederick High School on Saturday, Nov. 11. It was a rather chilly day, but that didn’t slow down the girls in the slightest. Junior Megan Raue finished 4th with a time of 19:30.25, her teammate freshman Mirae Denaro finished not far behind in 6th place with a time of 19:43.09, and senior Carolyn Hultman finished in 13th place with a time of 20:24.86.
