A cool start this morning, but not as chilly as the weekend, with temperatures in the lower 50′s under clear skies and calm winds. We have a strong ridge of high pressure that remains in place from over the weekend, which will keep the winds light, skies clear, daily high temperatures above normal. For Memorial Day Today we should reach a high in the middle to upper 70′s to around 80 degrees, under sunny skies. Breezes today should pick up a bit out of the east as a back door cold front makes its way through, occasionally gusting to 20mph. The sea breeze for Eastern Mass will have a significant impact on highs out there, only getting into the 60′s to lower 70′s. Not as dramatic of an impact in Western Mass today. No moisture is associated with this front, it will just cool things down slightly as compared to the weekend.
