26-year-old Sparta man convicted in 2016 Fond du Lac firebombing of Doty Street home
FOND DU LAC – A 26-year-old Sparta man was found guilty of three felonies related to a 2016 firebombing on Doty Street. Elliot J. Schneider was convicted of damage of property by use of explosives, first-degree reckless endangering safety and felony bail jumping, according to a May 13 news release from Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney.

2 people taken to hospital following 2-vehicle crash
VERNON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital after one vehicle rear-ended the other in rural Coon Valley yesterday. At about noon on May 8, crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 14 and Brinkman Ridge Road in the town of Hamburg in rural Coon Valley, Wis, after a van rear-ended a truck.
Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrests three people on drug related charges after traffic stop
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, May 7, at approximately 9:53 p.m., Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that a traffic stop on US Highway 61 in the Township of Marietta. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Geramia Swadley, 43, of Soldiers Grove, Wis. and his passengers as Jourdan Womack, 28, and Corben Eck, 21, of Platteville, Wis.
