Several people injured in 4-vehicle crash in West Springfield
WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Authorities are investigating a crash that left several people injured Monday night in West Springfield.
West Springfield Police said officers were called to a four-vehicle crash at the intersection of Westfield Street and Sibley Avenue around 5:30 p.m. According to police, the first officer on the scene described it as “total disarray.”
Several people, who were passengers of the vehicles involved, were found outside of their vehicles.
Four people were transported from the scene with various injuries, including facial injuries and broken bones.
The area was closed to traffic for a time Monday night, but has since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
